places we've been
Can we bridge the gap between fragmented digital travel memories and disconnected physical keepsakes? We were inspired by these 2 'yesterday’s artifacts': the globe and the map. They are classic tools for representing exploration but are static and lack interactivity, leaving them limited in how they can engage users. Meanwhile on the digital side, today travel memories are scattered across platforms—social media, phone galleries, and cloud storage—making it difficult to access them in a cohesive and meaningful way. We wanted to address this issue by creating a solution that integrates digital memories into a tangible and interactive experience.
