reinventing the wheel

The premise of the robot is that it extends human senses - such as seeing, hearing, touch - into a device that can move and explore. It acts as an external perception tool, which allows the user to sense beyond just their current environment. Right now, there is only a vision component (camera), although other sensory components can be modularly added, removed or swapped including hearing, pressure, lighting sensing components. This project does not just go beyond the capabilities of our design - but it empowers individuals to integrate their own sensors to adapt the robot for more personalized uses.
